We very proud to tour today with the staff of the North Dakota Tourism Division. They are spending three days in the northcentral region of North Dakota and we gave them a brief look at the prairie and Black Butte Adventures offerings. Check out the photos page to see a few pictures of the Tourism group and Jerry Effertz, tour guide for the day (thanks dad for sharing your knowledge).
Central North Dakota is still short moisture, but the crops are looking fair and the sunflower field next door to the campsite is just starting to bloom. The barley has been cut down and will be ready to harvest soon, along with the spring wheat and peas. It is incredible to stand on top of the Butte and see the fields below come to life. From the top, you can see 7 of North Dakota's largest export crops, along with some beautiful scenery of the river and nearby communities. Come see for yourself the amazement of North Dakota.
