On July 29, the North Dakota Tourism Division toured Black Butte Adventures as part of thier familiarization tour of the north central area of North Dakota.  We enjoyed a beautiful day on the prairie and Jerry Effertz highlighted the agriculture, history and nature along the trail.

The Trini-Tots Daycare enjoyed a morning on the prairie discovering nature, early pioneer history and native prarie from 'A-Z'.  After the tour they had a picnic lunch and enjoyed the camp area.

Black Butte Adventures hosted the 2008 Prairie Rose Games Mountain Bike.  The wind made for a more than interesting ride for most people, but all finished and we recieved great comments on the trail (thanks Tony for the extra work) and the scenery.
