Busy is how the prairie and the family has been. We welcomed the Van Natyn and Katein familes from Holland last week with a quick tour. They were very enjoyable and left a little better educated on the North Dakota prairie and why we choose to live in this beautiful wonderland. They were on a three week tour of North America and we were lucky to be one of their stops.
This week our campground will be full and we welcome the Greer family on Saturday with a tour and overnight stay. Will be fun to have activity and the weather is planning on being good for everyone.
Check out our pictures of the Foreign Press Tour on July 16. We had a great time and they enjoyed a pitchfork fondue from Cowboy's Cafe in Sawyer. Local "dignataries" joined the Minot Area Development Corporation and ND Department of Commerce for the evening. It ended up being late, but we were able to watch the sunset from the top of the Butte - amazing sight and very impressive.
Harvest should start soon, which always makes the view from the top interesting and adds a brilliant hue to North Dakota's already magnificant sunsets. Check it out for yourself plus I will try to post a few pictures if time allows.
We are looking forward to the semi-annual UND New faculty tour in August. If you have any ideas or questions, give us a call. Until then - enjoy the day and visit us in North Dakota.
