What a weekend.  We enjoyed two sets of guests over the weekend.  Our first family was from Texas and they kept talking about how quiet it was.  The Greer Family came on Saturday for an evening of hamburgers, tour and tenting under the stars.  After a quick adjustment to the grill, we had them well fed and ready for some rest after a two hour hike. 

We are hosting the North Dakota State Fair staff next week to a steak and shrimp lunch.  A well deserved treat for a group of very hard-working people that put on a nine-day event that brought over 300,000 people to our area.  The big boss is making sure they are treated well and we are bringing out the linens and good plates. We need the rain on the prairie, but hopefully it comes before next Tuesday!
