As we near Labor Day, we are watching the prairie and farmland change.  The last couple of inches of rain really perked up the prairie grass and finished off the small grains and sunflowers around the pasture.  Harvest should start anyday, as most of the grain is nearing ripeness.

We hosted UND new faculty tour last night and had a wonderful steak supper and tour.  At the same time we had a family with four very active boys enjoying the campground.  It has been fun to share the prairie with such a diverse group of people this year and we hope to keep that growing.
