With official trail opening right around the corner (April 1) we are anticipating a great new year with more agriculture tours and added value of bird tours and history lessons.  We are again hosting the Prairie Rose Mountain Bike race in July, so we hope to see some new faces along with the friends of the past.

I spent yesterday in Dickinson visiting about Black Butte Adventures to a group of people that have an interest in expanding their operation or venturing into the nature/ag tourism fields http://www.thedickinsonpress.com/articles/index.cfm?id=14590&section=homepage.  Our best bet in North Dakota is to have MORE ag tourism and nature tourism operators.  We are not competators but can add value to each operation with similiar features in multiple locations throughout the state.  Alone we will not attract a long-term visitor, but together we can bring people to our state and our region for week long excursions into the prairie.
