The trail has officially opened on April 1 and is very hikeable/rideable but also very dry this year.  It will rain, but the question will remain when?  As soon as the ground permits, we will allow campfires and smores, but until more moisture is provided, we can't afford to lose the entire area to fire.  Sorry if you were looking forward to an evening of campfires and songs, just have to settle for the songs!

A reminder that our fee structure has changed and gate admission is now open.  We ask that you contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the trail, but we have not set an amount.  Ag tours and camping are still fee based.  Let us know when you are coming so we can make sure you have an excellent time.
